Our Honey

by Honey Pond Farm

Honey Pond Farm honey is pure, raw honey, locally sourced here in Georgia. Never finely filtered or pasteurized in order to provide the true flavor of the honey as well as the many health benefits. At Soldier of the Sea Distillery, our whiskeys are based on these Georgia honeys.

HONEY POND FARM

Wildflower honey is a combination of floral nectars collected by honey bees during the early spring months here in the Piedmont region of Georgia. It has a very delicate, yet explosive floral flavor on your tongue. Great for all occasions.

Sourwood Honey

HONEY POND FARM

Sourwood honey is considered one of the world’s finest honeys and is a rare treat. Foraged from sourwood trees in the North Georgia Mountains, it may become your favorite honey, if it’s not already. Its flavor is smooth, yet buttery, with hints of caramel. Great to slather on warm biscuits or pancakes. Some years, there is little to no sourwood collected, which makes this a rare beauty when available.

Our Honey Pond Farm Sourwood Honey is pure and raw, available at Soldier of the Sea Distillery in Comer, Georgia.

Tupelo is prized by many chefs for its spicy flavor and can be found drizzled on many a charcuterie board with fine cheeses and fruit.
