Saturday, February 10th, 2024 was our fabulous Mardi Gras themed supper club! We celebrated Mardi Gras in Comer with fine cuisine, live music, and fun!
Our February menu was straight from New Orleans:
Shrimp Remoulade
Andouille Sausage and Chicken Gumbo
Cajun-style Red Beans & Rice
Gâteau de Sirop (Syrup Cake)
Special highlights included live music from Murky Waters, and a game with prizes! We also enjoyed— from the Hive Pub— New Orleans-inspired cocktails!

Try our newest Rye Bourbon, Sword and Saber only at Soldier of the Sea Distillery and the Hive Pub in downtown Comer, GA!
This hand-forged Bourbon Whiskey honors all who have served on land with the U.S. Military. For a slightly spicy profile, we have chosen a robust grain bill consisting of corn, malted rye and malted barley. The corn adds sweetness, while the rye enhances the spice. During fermentation, molasses and brown sugar are used for their exceptional partnering of flavors.
Soldier of the Sea Distillery in Comer, GA is open for tastings and bottle sales.
Our distillery pub, The Hive, is also open, offering cocktails based on our hand forged Soldier of the Sea Whiskeys and Bourbons.

Excited to announce Our Award-Winning Package Design:
Owners Mark Davis and Jennifer Berry announced the Grand Opening of Soldier of the Sea Distillery at 22 E. South Avenue in downtown Comer, Georgia on January 27th, 2023 with a ribbon cutting ceremony by the Madison County Chamber of Commerce at 3:30PM. Here are just a few photos from the event:
Veteran Owned
Soldier of the Sea Distillery sources grain and honey locally and regionally for its production of fine whiskey, both aged and unaged. Several of our aged whiskeys are dedicated to those that have served in the US military, the first being Sea Duty. Our bourbon is also themed around protecting pollinators, which are an integral part of agriculture and our whiskey.
